28 Weeks

I love the concept of this shirt. It just wraps around and around until you tie it off. It fits no matter how big my belly gets. The issue comes when you go to the bathroom. Especially when you have to find the top to the stretchy belly maternity pants. I have to redress every single time! Ah, the pains of trying to look cute ;)

Baby bedding

I've started working on the bedding for the baby's room. I convinced myself into this because I didn't like any of the the sets I saw anywhere. I wanted a modern, colorful scheme that didn't scream baby. So when I saw these fabrics, in the color scheme I wanted, I knew I had a job to do. I started making the baby quilt this weekend. Of course, the pattern I bought ended up being a weird size so in the end, I've done this by scratch. And I'm pretty happy with what I've come up with. I will use the pattern for the bumper and bed skirt - no need to eyeball those ones!

Trying a new pose. I've been searching around the 'net for inspiration and loved some maternity shots that I found just simply sitting on the floor like this. I like the look, but you can't get a good idea of the belly size. For that you'll just have to believe me when I say that everyone says I'm expanding day to day ;o)

Who knew that reading "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" would lead to an entire weekend of acting out the adventures of the World War I Flying Ace? He found the perfect get-up and has been flying around the house all day.

Commander Cody

Of course, his obsession for more than a year now has been Star Wars. The debut of the Clone Wars on Cartoon Network about a month ago, cranked the obsession up a notch! So this year, there was no way that he would be anything other than a Star Wars character for Halloween (much the same as last year!)
He's already worn the costume everyday for the last week and I'm sure that will continue until he wears it out!
