Everyone can relax. Ger is getting his vim and vigor back. The work has picked up speed and he has the old bounce back in his step. So far he hasn't shown any side affects to the drug.
We have been having what we call little mini-vacations the past few days. We go plant shopping or drive around neighborhoods and look at blooms. This morning I had garden club and one of the members mentioned some spectacular rhododendrens she's seen. As soon as I got home I asked Ger if he wanted to hop in the car and go look. He stashed his dry-wall sander, took a pull on his lunch beer and jumped in the car. I love it when we do this because it means not onlly did we drive to the suggested intersection, we drove all around the surrounding area. Saw lots of good things, iris especially and a Penelope rose covered in blooms on a corner where we could get a really good look. Ours has just started to open up and I wore a bloom on my lapel today.
It's getting very dark out and that means I can't put on my grubbies and go dig. Maybe later.
