I see the same woman walking her three daughters to school every day. The oldest is probably 4th grade, then there is one in 1st (Hadley's class), then the littlest one is probably 3ish. They are dressed the same EVERY day. Same everything. Same clothes, same socks, same shoes, same hairstyle and hair bow. It fascinates me. I'm embarrassed to say how much I think about it. I check every day and the woman has not missed one day.
For the record, I think it's weird to dress kids alike even if they are twins. I just don't understand it. Do you want people to know they are a set?
I'm baffled as to how she does it. They has to take tremendous effort. Does she force this? Do they love it? Are they spineless? H&F just wouldn't put up with this kind of conformity. Are you kidding?
I'm finally starting to feel better after having my legs knocked out from under me by a flare last week. I think I've said before that a lupus flare is sort of like drowning. You kick and fight (figuratively because literally I am laying or moving s l o w l y) your way to the surface that you know is within your grasp. Then once you get there, you gasp for air until you are finally able to breath normally again.
I started breathing normally again today. And it felt good.
I'll leave with this quote because I love it:
