It is no secret that I love Nutella. The love affair started when I spent a semester in Paris and has never faltered. I was delighted to find it in the States when I returned home, except after many many MANY taste tests, I realized it wasn't the same. So, then I only ate it if someone brought some back for me from Europe. Then I caved and just accepted the American version.
Recently, Peter and I had lunch at a cute little Dutch place called Dubbel Dutch. How freaking cute is that name? They also have an online store where you can order all of your Dutch necessities. It was there that I spotted this:
Oh yes, my friends. It did not disappoint. I have been enjoying it fully. My favorite is on a slice of toasted baguette or in a crepe.
I have finally joined the time suck that is Facebook. As if I didn't already spend enough time cozied up to my laptop. Damn! Poor Perez is being neglected. Although it is very cool to connect with people that I haven't talked to in years and years.
Topic to ponder today: I want to do something that freaks me out and makes me step out of my box a little. I had suggested a ballet class to ELK and she agreed. We're fully wearing leotards. And maybe leg warmers. But now I'm intrigued by the idea of fencing. Hm.
I would like to publicly thank my darling husband for being superDad over the weekend. I got some stomach bug on Friday night and was out of commission pretty much all weekend. You were so great, honey. I'm thinking about renting you out for children's parties.
