So...let's see....
1. I left my car unlocked and Tuesday night someone took the faceplate to my stereo and my brand new ipod Nano. I freaked for about 20 minutes and then let all anger and frustration go. I said to myself "Acknowledge and move on." It wouldn't do any good to keep freaking out letting all of the anger course through my veins. When explaining it to Hadley she said "Mom! At least they didn't steal the air conditioning!" How sweet is that? I said "You are so right, honey. Way to look on the bright side." We are lost without music though. The three of us are very music oriented and are constantly taking turns being DJ so we miss our music sources desperately. It's funny to randomly hear them singing Feist or Aimee Mann or Gwen Stefani to make up for the lack of tunes.
2. I have felt good for 4 days in a row now. Tell no one, especially if you see that bitch Lupus skulking around.
3. We are near the end of trying to sell the house and will probably put it up for rent next week.
4. Hadley is going to Seattle on Tuesday to stay with Taylor until Saturday. (Viva Emmerton women!!) She is so excited. Peter will coincidentally be in Seattle the same week so Finn, Nana and I will hold down the fort here. I plan on doing lots of fun stuff with the boy.
5. Peter and I had THE most fun on our little date getaway for my birthday. It should be a monthly occurrence. Many many thanks go to my stellar bro-in-law V for the hook up at the Brown. You rule!
Here's a picture dump from my camera...

We went to the Butterfly Pavilion a few weeks ago. I kept telling them "Don't touch!"
This one landed on Hadley.
This little guy came out of nowhere to cross the path and Finn decided to keep him company.

This is how Finn spent a good 3 hours one morning.
My babies at the Colorado Irish Festival. Yes, that is an enormous wad of gum in Hadley's mouth. No, I did not give it to her and yes, I made her spit it out. I am not raising a Spears.
We went to get haircuts last week with Meg and Mia too. Finn bolted up to this pink scooter when asked where he wanted to sit.
Here's Meg trying to politely explain to the Meez that she has to keep the "bib" on for a few more minutes. Mia would look around, pull at the cape thing and say "off." She was elated that H&F were there though. Even if most interactions with her beloved Finn are like this:

At my yoga class this afternoon it was me and 3 middle aged, shirtless guys. I don't know why I found it so amusing. Perhaps it's because there is usually just one guy randomly in a class full of women. So the fact that there were three and they were all shirtless just made me laugh. Amazing class. I was in the zone. I do wish I was one of those people who just looked a little flushed after class though. No, not me. I look like I've been thrown in a pool I have sweat so much and my face is BEET red. (90 minute class in 98 degree room) Ah well...
Speaking of yoga, I have a lady crush on Sadie Nardini. Check out her channel on YouTube. She has lots of great videos. Plus, she's beautiful and has that gypsy vibe that I find so interesting, only because I possess none of those mysterious gypsy qualities. Also, I love women who can pull off those bangs. I covet those bangs. Kenley from Project Runway has those bangs too. She's so cute. Let's discuss that show too! Love it. I'm glad it came on the heels of my Legally Blonde show on Mtv so it helped with the withdrawal.
Peter and I went out to dinner tonight alone and strolled around the bookstore for an hour afterwards. A favorite past time. I picked up another copy of Eat, Pray, Love, How to Lose Friends and Alienate People, and Love is a Mix Tape. (How great is that title??)
Wishing you a lovely Sunday.
