She is genius. Pretty much everything she does is crazy hysterical. I went to see the movie Baby Mama primarily out of my allegiance to her but also to Tina Fey, because she's my girl too. (the movie was good by the way...a lot less slapsticky than I expected) I think she's smart and funny AND she's married to the genius Will Arnett. (from Arrested Development -- R.I.P.)Hello? Talk about power comedy couple. Brad and Angelina can keep breeding and mugging for the camera and doing volunteer work. I'd still rather have drinks with Amy and Will.

Back to Poehler though...I read that she was doing this kids show but hadn't seen it. While Hadley was puking her guts out all day yesterday thanks to a 24 hour bug, we watched about 12 hours of kid shows. I have a knack for being in the same room as these inane shows and not paying attention or listening. But at one point during the afternoon, I distinctly heard Amy Poehler's lispy, wacky kid character voice and turned to the TV to see that her little show, Mighty B was on. 

I was hooked. I am recording them all. I can barely look at her without laughing. Her name is Bessie Higgenbottom.  How cute is she?

So we will add Mighty B to our "must watch" list. Currently, the list has Scooby Doo on it. My children will watch Scooby Doo all day long if you let them. They love it. They love to explain everything about it to me too, which I find hysterical.

"Don't get scared, Mom. It's not really a monster. If it's floating, it's probably a machine, run by a bad man. If it's not floating, then it's a bad man dressed up. Got it?"

Then Finn will pipe up.

"And the kids always solve the mystery, Mom. They always do. And Scooby Doo loves Scooby Snacks."

Coincidentally, I LOVED Scooby Doo when I was a kid too. Who didn't?
