I went to KU, and even though I don't give a crap about sports and my skin crawls at the sound of sports announcers and cheering sports fans, I got the goosebumps after hearing that they won last night. It's just a really really sweet victory for them. College sports are more palatable to me because they do it for the love of the game. Not for a gajillion dollars and a hundred endorsements.
And it also brought back many memories of my fabulous time in Lawrence, Kansas. I will always love that town and the time I spent in it. I know my brother and sis-in-law have permagrins today. They met at KU and are die hard fans.
