32 Entropy Lane
A place of disorder and randomness, otherwise known as my life

Happy MLK, Jr Day. Your quest for today is to try to explain MLK, Jr and what he did, with the importance it deserves, to a 5 year old. It ain't easy.

Speaking of the 5 year old, her reading is amazing me. It is such a privilege to witness a little person learning to read.  She's so excited about it too, which I love.  No matter what I'm doing, if she asks to read with me, I'll stop and read with her. I want to encourage and foster her love of reading.

I was sad to hear Suzanne Pleshette died on Saturday. Strange that it struck me. The last scene in the finale of Newhart played in my head. Remember? Dick wakes up and Emily is in his bed instead of Joanna. Brilliant. So unexpected. He says he had a crazy dream where he owned an Inn and had a buxom, blonde wife. Such a perfect scene.

The For Sale sign goes up in the yard tomorrow! It's really happening.
