Finn will put his blanket in the refrigerator because he likes it cold. He also calls the little coffee shop at the gym, "the hungry store." As in "Mom, when we're done swimming, can I get a bagel at the hungry store?"
He has adopted his sister's term "theirchother" for "each other" too. Peter and I find this so irresistible that we don't correct them.
Hm.
I just fast forwarded to a job interview with Finn looking dapper in a suit and then suddenly saying "My parents are great. They love theirchother."
Not so cute anymore. Misuse and mispronunciations of words. Huge Pet Peeve. (Although, I'm not so high and mighty to say that I've never committed a word faux pas. I know I have. I thought "wheelbarrow" was "wheelbarrel" until I was 16. I also thought "Breaking and Entering" was "breaking an entering". Hey, it could work.)
So much to say and nothing to say, really.
Saw Into the Wild and can't get it out of my head. Such a beautiful movie. Go see it.
Shoutout to AXM for the package. You have no idea how much that made my day. Brilliant.
Welcome to the week, everyone. Do something nice for yourself.
