A place of disorder and randomness, otherwise known as my life

I finally watched the Emmys, days later and on fast forward. Here are my favorite parts:

  • Katherine Heigl correcting the announcer for mispronouncing her name. She's so darling. She's that girl that other girls want to be friends with and guys want to have sex with date.
  • Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert giving Steve Carell the Emmy when Ricky Gervais wasn't there to accept. That was a fabulous moment. You could tell they were having so much fun with it.
  • The Jersey Boys performing. Loved it.
  • America Ferrara's acceptance speech. What a lovely girl. Her parents did a good job. So pretty too.

Ok, this bit has been in my head for days.

The latest in the celeb gossip world is that Hayden Panitierre and Milo Ventimiglia from HEROES, are dating. Perez Hilton dubbed them "Halo", which is so clever. Peter and I have just finished up watching the first delicious season, just in time for the premiere of season 2 on the 24th. The entire time we were watching the show, whenever Claire (Hayden) and Peter Petrelli (Milo) would come on screen, the chemistry was just explosive. He would stroke her face and say something nice and instead of hearing "And now I find out I'm your Uncle. It's fate that we save the world together, Claire!" I would hear "One more week until you turn 18 and then I'm gonna hit that."

And I found that icky considering they play Uncle and Niece on the show. So, when I found out they were dating in real life I was like "I knew it!"

Yes, I am aware I need to get a life.

But in a strange way, I feel like a member of the Bloodhound Gang and that I solved some mystery. (321 Contact reference. You're welcome.)

The last bit of TV ramblings I have for you is this: (The Hills)

  • Heidi and Spencer are disgusting pigs and deserve each other.
  • I loved when Elodie calmly put Heidi in her place. HA.
  • Why in the hell didn't Jason tell Lauren that he had a girlfriend and that he was going to propose to her? (next week preview) Lame.
  • And finally, why am I watching this show?

Oh yes, pure delicious escapism.

Off to Denver this afternoon. I am aching to hug my mom. Soon. Have a lovely weekend peeps.

This has been in my head for days. Food for thought.
