This little face makes me laugh. A lot. (this picture is from last year but it is one of my faves)
I am enjoying getting to know my darling boy while sister is at school. I am enjoying asking him a question and him actually answering it. I find myself fascinated by him and watch him when he doesn't know I'm watching.
We do what HE wants to do. We sing the songs HE wants to sing.
He is full of imaginative, clever, hilarious tidbits and I am soaking them up. I am cherishing this time with him. It fascinates me how different each kid is when you have them alone.
The sweetest thing is that he sighs quite frequently and says, "When can we go get sissie, Mama?"
He misses his bossy sister when she's at school.
I'm still feeling crappy but I'm trying to be kind to myself, which is annoying because it involves a lot of laying around, which just makes me feel lazy.
Turns out my belly button was hurting for a reason. My surgical site was infected and the doc called in some anti-biotics and some vicodin for good measure.
I know I've said this before, but it's no wonder America is addicted to prescription drugs. They pass them out to anyone and everyone.
::::totally random side note:::::::
I pass a real estate sign every day and the woman's name is Susie Shin. Today, I wondered aloud to Peter, "Do you think she sends out a holiday card that says 'Happy Holidays from The Shins?'"
