Hadley and Finn,
When and if you ever read this and you wonder "Was she happy? Why was she always squawking about something or tired or annoyed or sighing?" Know this:
I find you both so unbelievably amazing that sometimes it is beyond me how I ended up with such fantastic creatures.
I take a mental picture when something is particularly spectacular and tell myself 'remember this.' I've done it for years and years.
Tonight, looking at you two, I said that to myself and then I said to you both "Can I tell you something?"
And you moved in close to hear what this wonderful secret could be.
"I love you more than anything else in the whole world." I said breathlessly.
Hadley rolled her eyes and said "Oh Mama, you always say that."
I laughed. Yup. I do.
