Power came back on moments after I posted that last entry. We bolted for home, first stopping at Whole Foods to load up on food. Whole Foods has risen in my estimation. Sure I liked the place before and everything is sparkly and beautiful. But because they were they only big place with power, WF served as a shelter of sorts these past few days. No one was sleeping there or anything of course but during the day every one was mingling and eating fabulously.

I digress...

So we returned home and immediately put Finn down for a much needed nap. Peter and Hadley hopped on the couch to watch Harry Potter. (They are reading it together and she's been dying to see the movie.) And I retreated to the delicious warmth of our bed and our electric blanket and never felt so happy. I squealed with delight numerous time.

Then I made sure the TiVo was set to record Survivor.
