32 Entropy Lane
A place of disorder and randomness, otherwise known as my life

We went to Jubilee Farm yesterday with friends. It was everything you'd think a farm visit should be complete with pony rides, animals, corn maze, and a tractor ride out to the pumpkin patch. It was a lovey day overall and the weather was unstoppable. It felt like Colorado weather.

Hadley felt the need to stick her hand through the fence and a baby pig bit her finger. My first response was "Well now you can tell people you were bitten by a pig!" She was not pleased.

She was, however, delighted by the horses and we waited for a long ass time in order to be led around for 5 minutes. She was in heaven.

So was Finny, who rode a pony the size of Atticus named Quantum. He was chatting up everyone and waving to the paparazzi.

It might have been the highlight of the weekend. Although Peter and I went out Saturday night and that was delightful in a totally different way. Burgers and beer at the local pub and then we came home to watch The Notorious Bettie Page. It was interesting. I think I expected something different. The kids were at the monthly "parents night out" at Hadley's school. Gotta love that.
