I took the kids to the U District today and loved it. A very cool little shopping area. I immediately wished I didn’t have them with me so I could wander and peruse. Being in Seattle, and especially in the U district brought back the all familiar thoughts of wanting to live in the city. I swear the air is different over the lake.

I have ended my purse search. I got this bag in black today at J Crew.  
It’s practical, yet chic and classic. Problem solved. Why I was obsessing about a dumb bag for so long is a mystery.

Feeling pretty good today, which is good.  On days when I feel good I am so grateful and relieved. It’s strange to think that way. To wake up and assess your pain level. I walk to the bathroom and sort of go “Huh. Not much pain today. Nice” While driving over the 520 bridge (my fave) I actually took a deep breath and sort of smiled that I wasn’t miserable. I listened to the new Ray LaMontagne as I drove into the city. Delightful.
