Devil Wears Prada was a fun little movie. It made me want to go intern for Vogue and get all new clothes. Parts of it made me miss my old job strangely. (endless cell phone use, car service, getting obscure things for important people at odd hours…)Anne Hathaway has perfect teeth and is so darling. Meryl Streep is divine. Adrien Grenier phoned in his role. He really does nothing for me in this movie. He looks a little homeless and I wanted to push him down, tweeze his eyebrows, brush his teeth and change his clothes. I love Anne Hathaway though. She just seems like a nice, smart, normal girl who happens to have gorgeous, classic features and beautiful beautiful teeth. (I know I know…enough about the teeth) Anyway, I had my own popcorn, kit kat and water that I brought because the shit there is nasty and too expensive. I was wiggly with glee purely because I love going to the movies so much. Especially alone when the theater is sort of empty. Saw the trailer for Running with Scissors too which I’m very excited about!

My embroidery kit came today and I am in love. I knew I would be. Or I hoped I would be. Embroidery is delicious and it has the potential to be my WoW. I am particularly fond of the French Knot and just keep making it over and over again and then running my fingers over it. It’s a lovely little knot.

I’ve been feeling really good for a few days now. I’ve learned (or am trying to learn) not to read too much into it or analyze it….I’m just trying to accept it and enjoy it, for now.
