My darling baby girl is four years old. She turned four on Saturday, March 4th. Leading up to the day, I really wasn’t thinking about her being so old. It’s hitting me now. Perhaps it’s because she keeps reminding me, and everyone we come into contact with. I’M FOUR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” she says extending out four fingers. Then she’ll just randomly say things like “I won’t hit my brother anymore, Mom, because I’m four.” That lasted about 20 minutes.

She’s already desperately excited for her 5th birthday, which makes me sad. Can you sit on them to keep them from growing?

The Reptile Man was a huge hit at her birthday party and Hadley ate up every single minute. As did Peter and I…he asked for a snake when the whole thing was over. I think I said “yes” in my post party, 2 cupcake state of bliss. I wouldn’t mind actually. We held the 11 foot Burmese Python and that was AWESOME. The guy took a polaroid so I’ll scan it in and post it. It’s just me, Peter and H as Finn was having a meltdown and took to his bed. All of the kids got to ride a turtle. Yes, RIDE a turtle: ( the closed eye, HUGE grin face was a constant throughout and she’s not wearing makeup even though it looks like she was let loose in a Rite Aid.)
