We TiVo NBC Nightly News every night and I am reminded every time I watch it why I hate the news. Bad news + bad news + bad news and oh! A little more bad news…The floods in Europe, the fires in Portugal, the war in Iraq, the hurricane about to hit Florida, the price of gas…blech.

To improve my mood, I switched on an episode of Rock Star:INXS that I had randomly Tivoed just to see what the fuss was about and I liked it.  Ty’s version of Maggie May had Finn dancing up a storm. I probably won’t watch it again but I would put money on the fact that Mig will win. He sang Peter Frampton’s “Baby I Love Your Way” and accompanied himself on the piano. It was amazing. I watched it twice. With my mouth open. Just a beautiful beautiful rendition. I’m a sucker for a man who can play piano, even though he does look a little like Jughead’s hot brother. He is a phenomenal talent and has that little bit of magic that lead singers need.
